Their reputation is built on horticultural expertise, reliability, and attention to detail, and they are looking for an experienced horticulturist to help coordinate and support our gardening teams.

The Role
As Horticultural Operations Coordinator, you will play a central role in the day-to-day running of the business. Working can be home and office based, you will use your horticultural knowledge to support the gardeners, organise schedules, coordinate materials and help ensure clients receive an excellent service. Some on-site time will be necessary.
You will be responsible for:
· Planning and coordinating gardeners' daily and weekly schedules
· Managing team allocations across multiple sites
· Ordering plants, materials, tools and supplies
· Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
· Providing horticultural support and guidance to gardening teams
· Monitoring job progress and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
· Assisting with quotations and project planning
· Supporting client communication
· Helping improve operational systems and processes
· Maintaining accurate records and job information
About You
We are looking for someone who combines practical horticultural experience with strong organisational skills.
Essential
- Minimum 5 years' professional horticultural experience
- Strong plant knowledge and understanding of garden maintenance practices
- Experience leading or supervising gardening teams
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Good computer skills and confidence using office software
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work independently
Desirable
- Experience scheduling teams or managing operations
- Experience purchasing plants and horticultural materials
- RHS qualifications or equivalent horticultural training
- Experience working with high-end private gardens
- Full UK driving licence
