A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate horticulturist to join a small, dedicated team on a beautiful private estate in the New Forest.

The estate’s gardens have recently undergone an extensive redevelopment, designed by an award-winning garden designer, and are now entering an exciting phase of establishment and ongoing refinement. This role offers the chance to work within a diverse and inspiring landscape, helping to maintain and develop gardens of exceptional quality.

The gardens feature extensive perennial and shrub borders, a beautifully reimagined walled garden incorporating both ornamental and productive areas, restored and newly constructed greenhouses, woodland gardens, wildflower meadows, and a picturesque lake.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual with a solid level of practical horticultural experience. Formal qualifications are welcomed but are not essential; relevant hands-on experience and a genuine passion for horticulture are equally valued. The successful candidate will be personable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a close-knit and enthusiastic team.

This is an opportunity to become part of a progressive and supportive gardening team within a vibrant and historic estate. The owners have a deep commitment to horticulture and are highly engaged in the continued development of the gardens.

Salary: In the region of £30,000 to £35,000.

Accommodation: Please note that accommodation is not available with this position.
